NHTI in Concord became the epicenter of excitement as it hosted 27 school-age teams for the FIRST Championships in robotics on February 15, 2025. This thrilling event aimed to inspire and recognize the talents of young innovators in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Participants showcased their engineering skills and creativity as they maneuvered their robots through various challenges designed to test their programming and design capabilities. The atmosphere was electric, filled with camaraderie and teamwork as students collaborated and supported one another throughout the competition.
Judges evaluated the teams based on their robots' performance, design, and the quality of their presentations, emphasizing the importance of both technical skills and communication.
