Pawnee Mental Health has appointed Will Baldwin as its first-ever Director of Information Technology, marking a new chapter for the organization. Baldwin steps into the role as the agency works to modernize its digital infrastructure and improve data security across its network of clinics and support services.
Baldwin brings over a decade of experience in healthcare IT, having previously managed technology systems for regional hospital networks. In his new position, he will oversee the integration of electronic health records, cybersecurity protocols, and telemedicine platforms. The organization says his hire reflects a growing need to protect patient data while expanding access to virtual care.
"We are thrilled to have Will on board," said a spokesperson for Pawnee Mental Health. "His background in both clinical IT and strategic planning will be vital as we continue to grow." Baldwin himself noted that he looks forward to building a team that can respond quickly to the changing demands of mental health care.
The move comes as many community health providers invest heavily in technology to meet rising demand. Pawnee Mental Health serves several counties in Kansas, offering counseling, crisis intervention, and substance use treatment. With Baldwin leading IT, the agency hopes to streamline operations and reduce wait times for patients.
