PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Florida State University Inspire Program is making significant strides in enhancing the technological capabilities of educators throughout the Panhandle. With a series of eight week-long classes, the program aims to equip teachers from Escambia to Wakulla counties with the skills necessary to effectively integrate technology into their classrooms.
These workshops are designed to address the growing need for digital literacy in education, providing teachers with hands-on experience and practical strategies to incorporate various technological tools into their teaching methods. Participants will explore a range of topics, including the use of educational software, interactive learning platforms, and innovative teaching techniques that leverage technology to engage students.
The initiative not only focuses on improving individual teacher competencies but also aims to foster a collaborative environment where educators can share insights and best practices. By investing in professional development through the Inspire Program, FSU is helping to create a more tech-savvy educational landscape in the Panhandle, ultimately benefiting students and their learning experiences.
